Kostenberger's God, Marriage, and Family

Finally, after hearing recommendation upon recommendation upon recommendation from some of the most faithful and respected bible teachers around, I picked up God, Marriage, and Family (which for the record, has over 60 pages in footnotes and an unbelievably extensive bibliography). My friend and boss at TCM, C.E. Moore has a review of the book here. This is a book that needs to be read by more people.

Grudem's Systematic Theology Available FREE on iTunes

Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology is now available for FREE through iTunes! It's a great book on doctrine and its actually quite readable but now you can just listen Grudem giving lectures chapter by chapter. If you've already read it, these podcasts would be a great refresher course. Hope some of you check it out, I'm downloading as we speak.

Ever Wonder What Your Favorite Pastor's Notes Look Like?

Josh Harris has got you covered. He's compiled actual PDFs of sermon notes from Tim Keller, Mark Dever, CJ Mahaney, Mark Driscoll, and others. Interesting to see the different approaches each take to the pulpit week after week.

This Gets Me Fired Up

I love hearing about the gospel of Christ entering areas "difficult" areas--particularly urban settings--and seeing the Lord work. Acts 29 is church planting network that the Lord is using to do great things in many communities. Check the testimony of Pastor Lorenzo Elizondo of Life Point Church in Dallas:

In fact, the network has already gone international. This is Gerald Mwebe, a pastor from Uganda:
